Looking for Nimonic 90 Material?

Currently Nimonic 90 material is only being produced in one mill in United Kingdom, mainly in wire and round bar. The plates, sheets, and strips are rarely produced because of the very low demand, therefore, it is very hard to find raw material in the required sizes to manufacture Disc Springs.

Although not comparable, an available substitute would be Inconel 718, which is stable until 500°C and by low stress level up to 550°C. China Disc Springs’s procurement and engineering team in Germany are continuing to search for a suitable material to replace the Nimonic 90. Once we are confident in our testing, our customers will be the first to know.
